DIY Xylophone

Fill glasses, cups or bottles with water to different heights to create different pitches.  To play, tap (be careful!) with wooden spoons.

Can you put the different pitches in order, low to high or high to low?

Can you fill the bottles or cups to the right levels to create a scale—Do, Re, Mi, Fa, So, La, Ti, Do?

​

Can you use your instrument to compose a tune?  Could you create a score for your tune using Sol Far or make up your own notation?
