Toilet Roll Shakers

 

You will need: two toilet roll tubes (for hygiene before use, bake them in the oven for 10 minutes at 100 degrees); tape; dried beans, lentils or rice; paint or decorative paper and glue.

1. Squish one end together and secure with tape, as in the picture.

​

2. Put in a small handful of lentils or other filling (you could use a different filling for the second one so they sound different).

​

3. Secure the other end by squishing in the opposite direction and then tape together.

​

4. Decorate.
